Job description
Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist at 32Care Dental Clinic and Implant Center plays a pivotal role in ensuring excellent patient experiences, managing appointments, overseeing laboratory case coordination, and supporting clinic administration to facilitate smooth daily operations. This role serves as the main communication bridge among patients, dental staff, and external laboratories.
Primary Duties
- Warmly greet and assist patients, efficiently managing their check-ins and check-outs.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries, addressing concerns or escalating them appropriately.
- Manage appointment scheduling including confirmations, rescheduling, cancellations, and maximize booking efficiency.
- Coordinate the daily chairside schedules of dentists, specialists, and hygienists to streamline operations.
- Register new patients, maintain and update both electronic and physical patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
- Handle payment processing and issue receipts accurately.
- Oversee all dental lab cases—from crowns to aligners—preparing necessary documentation, monitoring progress, and liaising with labs for timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Maintain reception area organization and cleanliness, monitor inventory levels of office and clinical supplies, and support ongoing office projects.
- Facilitate clear communication among patients, clinical staff, and external vendors to optimize clinic workflow.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree is advantageous.
- Prior experience in dental, medical or healthcare office settings is desirable.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and dental practice management software is preferred.
- Understanding of dental laboratory workflows is beneficial.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking capability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple lab cases simultaneously and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Basic knowledge of insurance and billing procedures.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and safeguarding patient confidentiality rigorously.

Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Practice Manager, Clinic Administrator, or Lead Dentist.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 16,000 to INR 20,000.
