About the Role
At GEDU, we seek a commercially minded Senior FP&A Analyst who excels at transforming financial data into actionable business insights. This position goes beyond traditional reporting to directly influence strategic plans, promote sustainable growth, and collaborate closely with leaders throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide precise and insightful financial forecasts, reports, and performance analyses.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes on a monthly, interim, and annual basis.
- Perform scenario analyses and develop financial models to aid strategic decision-making.
- Deliver meaningful management information and strategic recommendations to senior executives.
- Assist in forecasting cash flows and optimizing the company’s financial performance.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities through comprehensive short- and long-term analyses.
- Prepare reports on financial viability and sustainability to support future growth plans.
- Collaborate with budget owners and stakeholders to foster accountability and sound decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready financial records, systems, and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate finance roles.
- Possession (or ongoing progress) of professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including robust financial modeling expertise.
- Experience handling large datasets, performing statistical analysis, and utilizing financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Confidence in presenting insights and influencing decisions at all organizational levels.
