About the Role
We are partnering with an innovative insurance company with a global presence to hire a commercially minded FP&A Accountant. This role provides the chance to engage directly with senior leadership and significantly contribute to business performance across various international regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with major stakeholders to enhance business outcomes.
- Compile monthly financial statements along with variance analyses and detailed performance notes.
- Conduct revenue and expense reconciliations to pinpoint crucial business factors.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic long-term financial plans.
- Engage closely with senior leaders from commercial and operational departments.
- Recognize risks and opportunities while recommending actions to boost financial performance.
- Support various business initiatives and promote continuous enhancements in processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a qualified accountant possessing between zero and three years of post-qualification experience.
- Previous employment at a Big Four firm is preferred, with a background ideally in insurance or the financial services sector.
- Exemplary commercial insight combined with strong financial expertise.
- Advanced skills in Excel including proficient financial modeling and data analysis abilities.
- Experience in reporting financial data to senior management levels.
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
