Position Overview and Responsibilities

Working in the Savannah River division from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the Fountain Installer 1 role involves installing and removing fountain equipment, managing inventory accurately, and supporting service calls as assigned by management. Essential duties include clear communication with customers, sales personnel, and contractors, along with maintaining proficient written communication via the company's Mobilizer system.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and adherence to Coca-Cola UNITED fleet policies is mandatory.
• Capability to obtain and uphold DOT certification and physical eligibility.
• Must hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with a requirement to obtain Class A CDL within 90 days of employment.
• Use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with company safety regulations.
• Consistent and punctual attendance is essential.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Maintenance of a neat, professional appearance consistent with company standards.
• Commitment to securing and safeguarding company property.
• Comfortable using company-provided resources and technology.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience spanning up to six months.
• Ability to earn Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) certification.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, or variable schedules as required.
• Basic knowledge and skill in using hand tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse functional areas.

Physical Demands

This role necessitates wearing safety-toed shoes during tasks involving powered industrial equipment operation, fleet maintenance, handling palletized products, use of hand trucks/dollies, cooler servicing, and similar activities. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, stair climbing, crawling, overhead reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, lifting or carrying items up to 50 pounds, exposure to water, noise, occasional exposure to chemicals and weather elements, and regular vehicle operation.
