Founding Lead Data Analyst

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding digital entertainment company specializing in sweepstakes casino and sports gaming as the Founding Lead Data Analyst. This full-time on-site position based in Downtown Dubai offers the opportunity to spearhead the entire data analytics function, influencing key business decisions and driving measurable performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine extensive datasets to reveal trends, patterns, business prospects, and potential risks.
• Define and track KPIs related to revenue, user behavior, retention, acquisition, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Create and enhance dashboards, automated reports, and business intelligence systems.
• Perform customer segmentation, cohort, profitability, and behavioral analyses.
• Convert analytical insights into actionable recommendations that enhance revenue, improve retention, cut costs, and optimize processes.
• Lead, coordinate, and mentor a small group of analysts, managing priorities and deadlines.
• Establish effective workflows, reporting standards, and analytical frameworks within the team.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, and senior leadership to apply data-driven enhancements.
• Critically assess assumptions and decisions, proposing superior alternatives grounded in data.
• Develop forecasting models and analyze metrics such as customer lifetime value, acquisition costs, conversion rates, retention, and revenue.
• Communicate insights and updates clearly to management stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses 4 to 6+ years’ experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar roles.
• Experienced in leading and managing small teams of analysts.
• Proficient in advanced SQL and skilled with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis and analytical problem solving.
• Commercially savvy with a deep understanding of data’s impact on profitability.
• Familiarity with Python programming, forecasting models, predictive analytics, or A/B testing is highly advantageous.
• Prior exposure to sweepstakes, iGaming, or sports betting sectors is beneficial but not required; experience in e-commerce, fintech, subscription services, marketplaces, or other data-heavy consumer industries is valuable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Additional Information

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Salary package: AED 174,000 annually (AED 14,500 monthly).
• Location: Downtown Dubai, UAE – fully onsite role.
• Markets served include the US, Canada, and Australia.
• Immediate start preferred but a reasonable notice period will be accommodated.
