Role and Responsibilities

As a Founders Associate, you will be deeply involved from day one, actively contributing rather than observing. Your tasks include:

• Assisting in the identification, analysis, and acquisition of new commercial properties, while devising innovative strategies for expanding locations.
• Managing the complete setup process for new apartments—from property assessment and design to final furnishing and welcoming the first guests.
• Monitoring the performance of existing units, enhancing operational workflows, and ensuring an excellent guest experience during daily operations.
• Collaborating closely with cleaning and maintenance teams to uphold Homely's quality standards in every aspect.
• Leading your own projects, ranging from process improvements to strategic pilot initiatives, and actively presenting ideas to the management team.
• Working directly alongside the founders to gain in-depth insights into the growth and scaling of a hospitality startup and helping to shape Homely’s future.

Candidate Profile

We are searching for someone curious, eager to learn and ready to engage actively in shaping the company instead of merely observing. The ideal candidate works methodically and solutions-oriented, maintaining composure during demanding times and tackling challenges with pragmatism and determination.

• Comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving initiatives forward.
• A proactive problem-solver who does not wait but actively seeks solutions.
• Communicative with an entrepreneurial mindset and willing to contribute inventive ideas.
• Fluent in both German and English, capable of thriving in an international environment.
• Holder of a Class B driving license and open to traveling around Berlin or to new locations as needed.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or startup environments is advantageous but not mandatory—motivation to learn and take on responsibility is paramount.
