Role Overview

As Luma's lead creative expert on location in Riyadh, you will collaborate with premier brands and agencies to translate advanced generative AI modeling capabilities into practical, impactful production workflows. Positioned at the intersection of technology and creative craft, you will define how leading creatives engage with generative video and personally demonstrate the possibilities by producing exceptional content directly within Luma.

This senior role is foundational and pioneering in the region, requiring you to proactively shape partnership engagements without a predefined formula. It suits an experienced creative comfortable innovating approaches and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders rather than simply executing routine processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with top-tier brands and creative agencies, serving as their strategic and creative guide on generative AI capabilities.
• Design and prototype workflows enhanced by AI to accelerate partner production and enhance storytelling quality.
• Produce high-caliber content within Luma that sets industry standards and serves as inspirational reference work.
• Provide consultative support to partner leadership by translating AI technology into actionable creative and commercial opportunities.
• Function as a local extension of Product, Partnership, and Sales teams, feeding practical insights to product development.
• Establish the forward-deployed creative methodology and engagement standards for partners in the region.

First 90 Days Plan

• Days 1–30: Deeply familiarize yourself with Luma's technology and models, meet key partners, and analyze existing workflows to identify AI integration points.
• Days 30–60: Develop and implement an AI-driven production workflow with a partner, culminating in a refined, high-quality case study project.
• Days 60–90: Create scalable, repeatable frameworks and playbooks based on successful workflows to support wider team and partner adoption.

Candidate Profile

• Proven senior-level experience in client-facing creative roles (e.g., Creative Director, Creative Technologist, Technical Director) at respected agencies, studios, or tech companies.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating sophisticated craftsmanship, technical expertise, and compelling storytelling is mandatory.
• Expertise in creative production pipelines such as VFX, animation, motion graphics, or production with a strong focus on integrating generative AI into workflows.
• A demonstrated ability to innovate in uncertain and rapidly evolving environments.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with aptitude for strategic consulting to senior creative and business leaders.
• Strong passion for exploring AI’s creative potentials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using generative AI creative platforms like Luma, Midjourney, Runway, Pika, or Stable Diffusion.
• A public presence as a creator or thought leader within emerging technology or generative art communities.
• Background at forward-thinking agencies (like Buck, The Mill) or in innovative tech/brand labs (such as Google Creative Lab or Apple Marcom).
