Role Overview

This contract-based Forklift Operator position, located in Doha, Qatar, involves a hybrid work setup—performing primarily on-site material handling along with some administrative duties from home. The role focuses on operating forklifts and related equipment to efficiently and safely transport goods, supporting shipping and receiving processes, organizing and packing items, and keeping precise inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials securely and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by coordinating logistics and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Organize, pack, label, and secure materials for transport to ensure order accuracy and safety.
• Maintain warehouse safety standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure timely handling of inventory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certain knowledge and practical experience in shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and coordination with logistics teams.
• Experience in unloading and handling materials safely, including stacking and storage techniques.
• Valid certification or license for forklift operation as per local regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with packing procedures, order preparation, and labeling for shipments.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
• Able to read and interpret work orders, shipping paperwork, and inventory records.
• Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting and standing for prolonged durations.
• Prior work in warehouse, logistics, or distribution fields is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multicultural work environment.
