Forensics Solutions Activation Leader Associate Director

About the Role

EY is seeking a commercially focused leader to spearhead the growth and adoption of its digitally enabled and AI-enhanced forensic solutions across Europe with reach into the Asia-Pacific region. The role centers around market activation, guiding regional and country forensic teams to transition from traditional manual processes to technology-led service delivery, thereby unlocking new revenue streams. This position combines strategic market development, commercial leadership, and stakeholder engagement, requiring fluency in forensic technology and AI to credibly communicate client value, though deep technical expertise is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of growth strategies for forensic technology solutions aligned with global and regional objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities and regulatory trends to expand solution adoption across countries.
• Collaborate with regional and country forensic leaders to formulate market plans and go-to-market strategies.
• Create practical resources such as playbooks, propositions, and case studies to accelerate client acquisition and revenue.
• Monitor market performance and pipeline to prioritize efforts toward high-growth potential areas.
• Champion behavioural change, leading the shift from manual to technology-driven forensic delivery.
• Enable country teams to confidently position, sell, and scale technology-enabled forensic offerings.
• Act as a commercial advisor to local leaders expanding these solutions.
• Facilitate sharing of knowledge and best practices across regions to build consistent commercial momentum.
• Support strategic client pursuits across forensic portfolios including Integrity & Compliance, investigations, monitoring, data analytics, eDiscovery, third-party and regulatory risk, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop complex proposals and solution approaches for priority opportunities and foster cross-border engagements.
• Represent the firm at client forums, industry events, and leadership meetings, promoting the firm's technology-enabled forensic solutions.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support adoption and growth initiatives across Europe and APAC.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Forensics, Compliance, Regulatory Risk, Financial Crime, Investigations, or related forensic and integrity services.
• Proven track record of commercializing services and driving revenue growth within professional services, especially new or technology-based offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and adoption across distributed, matrixed teams.
• Strong client network and market-facing relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and executive communication skills.
• Fluency in forensic technology and AI to connect technical capabilities to client value; deep technical hands-on expertise not required.
• Preferred experience in European and APAC markets.
• Knowledge of Integrity & Compliance disciplines such as anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), third-party risk management, monitoring, investigations, and ethics programs.
• Awareness of advanced analytics and AI applicable to forensics and regulatory risk.
• Multilingual abilities, including English and at least one other major European language, are advantageous.

• Documented transition from manual to technology-based service delivery in key markets demonstrated by adoption metrics.
• Raised capabilities and engagement levels of country teams in selling and delivering technology-enabled solutions.

Work Model and Additional Information

• This is a hybrid role based at European hubs with 30–50% travel for client engagements, country activation, and leadership events.
• Reports collaboratively with Global, Regional, and Country Forensics leadership.
