Role Overview

The Food Packer position is a full-time role located in Dubai, responsible for precise meal portioning, packaging, and labeling aligned with PrepHero's standards and individual meal plans. Daily duties include verifying the quality of ingredients and completed meals, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety protocols, and keeping packaging areas orderly and clean.

This role requires close coordination with kitchen and logistics teams to prepare orders for prompt delivery, which involves arranging meals inside boxes, confirming order information, and readying items for dispatch.

The Food Packer must accurately follow written and verbal instructions, ensure consistent portion sizes, and promptly report any product or packaging issues encountered to supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in handling and packing food with an emphasis on portion accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with fundamental food safety practices, hygiene standards, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen or production environments.
• Ability to comprehend instructions, read labels and order sheets, and keep workstations organized.
• Physical stamina to stand for long durations, lift and move boxes, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen, nutrition, and delivery personnel.
• Prior experience in meal preparation, catering, or food production is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts including weekends and busy periods as required.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages common in the UAE are advantageous.
