Food Cost & Inventory Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Cost & Inventory Executive for our establishment in the Food & Beverage sector. This full-time position requires 1 to 2 years of experience, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulate and oversee food costs at the outlet level to ensure budget compliance.
• Handle outlet inventory management including stock record keeping and regular reconciliations.
• Monitor food consumption patterns, wastage rates, and any stock discrepancies.
• Track and control the procurement of goods, stock movement, and utilization effectively.
• Compile, review, and analyze detailed reports concerning food cost and inventory status.
• Detect any cost leakages or inconsistencies in inventory and initiate corrective measures.
• Liaise with outlet and kitchen staff to streamline cost and inventory control processes.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Possess 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the restaurant or food & beverage industry.
• Well-versed with food cost accounting and inventory management practices.
• Basic accounting knowledge to support food cost controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and management information systems for reporting and data analysis.
• Experience working in environments such as restaurants, cafés, quick service restaurants (QSR), or hotels is highly desirable.
