Food & Consumables Team Associate

Position Overview

The Food and Consumables Team Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service aligned with Walmart's core values. This role involves organizing and maintaining the food and consumables sections, supporting stock replenishment, and facilitating product sales in compliance with company standards.

Key Duties

• Maintain the department's organization by ensuring shelves, tables, and display areas are properly arranged with products in correct locations.
• Conduct stock rotation and monitor products for expiration dates to maintain freshness and safety.
• Verify merchandise is clearly signed and priced accurately.
• Comply with cold chain protocols including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, correct food handling, product rotation, managing sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow established procedures for ordering inventory, handling clearance items, managing pricing adjustments, and applying appropriate signage and labels.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
