Food & Consumables Team Associate

Role Overview

As a Food and Consumables Team Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service reflecting the core values and principles upheld by Walmart. Your role includes maintaining the organization and zoning of the food and consumables section while supporting inventory stocking and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the department to keep product shelves, displays, and storage areas orderly and ensure product placement is accurate.
• Manage stock rotation and regularly inspect products for expiration dates to maintain freshness and compliance.
• Ensure all merchandise is correctly labeled with appropriate signage and pricing.
• Comply with cold chain procedures, including thermometer calibration and temperature documentation, proper food handling, product rotation, and monitoring sell-by and expiry dates according to standards and policies.
• Execute proper processes for ordering, clearance sales, price adjustments, labeling, and tagging merchandise as required.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.05 per hour.
