Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Florist / Team Member who has a genuine passion for flowers and enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will embody our vision, brand, and style, contributing actively as part of our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain flower displays ensuring they are consistently full and visually appealing.
• Manage flowers in the workroom, including flower conditioning and rotating vases and buckets effectively.
• Look after plant care and maintenance.
• Prepare and ensure designed bouquets are ready and presented attractively on stands.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all clients.
• Handle processing of ambient, fresh, packaging, and consumable deliveries.
• Display and merchandise stock thoughtfully.
• Perform stock rotation, checking sell-by or use-by dates, and keep accurate records.
• Serve customers, process transactions, and assist by packing groceries appropriately.
• Manage waste disposal following correct procedures.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy workspace.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge and passion for flowers and floral design.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage pleasantly with clientele.
• Ability to align with the company’s vision and style while actively contributing to team dynamics.
• Confidence and experience in flower conditioning and overall flower care.
• Authorization to work in the United Kingdom is essential.

• Position: Full-time, permanent employment.
• Location: Bayley & Sage, 34 New Kings Rd, London SW6 4ST, United Kingdom.
• Salary: £14.40 per hour.
• Work is to be performed on-site at the designated location.
