Role Summary
The Flight Support & Ticketing Specialist is a full-time position based in Jiddah. The role involves managing flight bookings, issuing and adjusting tickets, and assisting passengers through all booking phases. Tasks include attending to customer questions via multiple channels, processing ticket transactions, verifying seat availability, and ensuring correct fare and tax application. The specialist liaises with airline systems to handle bookings, modifications, cancellations, and special service requests while keeping records current and following company policies and regulatory standards. Resolving customer issues, delivering clear travel guidance, and cooperating closely with team members to facilitate daily workflows are also essential duties.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong customer-oriented skills including professional communication with diverse clients.
- Sales expertise focusing on ticket sales and ethical revenue enhancement.
- Experience with reservation systems and basic familiarity with airline or travel booking software.
- Meticulous data entry, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities in a high-paced environment.
- Experience in airline, travel agency, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
- Competence with basic computer programs and digital booking/payment systems.
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
