About the Role

Join DPD UK in Worcester as a Fleet Ambassador on a permanent contract working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with early morning shifts. Earn £12.71 per hour while playing a vital role in maintaining the company's cutting-edge, sustainable delivery fleet. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed vehicle inspections using a dedicated app to monitor fleet condition.
  • Ensure all 3.5-ton vans comply with legal weight limits and remove vehicles not meeting standards.
  • Assist drivers in reporting defects efficiently and coordinate timely repairs.
  • Manage depot operations including safe traffic flow and overseeing equipment such as fuel pumps and jump packs.
  • Ensure drivers adhere to uniform standards and maintain the cleanliness of delivery vans.

Weekly Duties

  • Use Google Calendar to organize vehicle maintenance notices.
  • Work closely with the Transport Team to monitor and follow up on repair tasks.
  • Maintain stock levels for essential parts like lights and mirrors, and ensure accurate HGV fleet records.
