Job Overview
A Fitter Technician is a skilled tradesperson responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery, equipment, and industrial systems. This role requires interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to guide the assembly processes accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and systems following detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Install machinery and equipment at designated sites ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Maintain and repair mechanical devices to ensure optimal operation and reduce downtime.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and shop machinery for accurate fitting and alignment of parts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of workshop machinery operation relevant to fitting and assembly.
- Understanding of mechanical assembly and repair techniques.
- Ability to work with various mechanical components to ensure correct fit and function.
Compensation
Monthly salary ranges from INR 23,000 to 26,000.
