About the Company

Transport Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd operates under Palfinger, a division of Sime Motors Company, recognized globally and in Australia as a leader in truck mounted cranes. Key Responsibilities

  • Install and inspect both new and used cranes and hook loaders.
  • Fabricate and assemble subframes from design stages through to final manufacture.
  • Ensure all installations meet Palfinger’s stringent quality standards.
  • Conduct servicing and maintenance on vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders.
  • Complete detailed job documentation accurately.
  • Adhere to maintaining a safe work environment by following all site policies and safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a related industry.
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience handling heavy vehicle components.
  • Strong skills in fabrication and welding.
  • Familiarity with cranes and hook loaders is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and procedural documents.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work safely while managing time efficiently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A current driver’s licence is required, with a heavy rigid (HR) licence preferred.
