Your Role as a Fitout Draughtsman

As a key member of the Technical Department, reporting to the Technical Manager, you will develop precise technical drawings and production files for custom joinery work, contributing to luxury interiors for hospitality, retail, and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and factory personnel to ensure design accuracy, efficient production, and top-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD+T drawings for bespoke joinery components.
• Create machine-ready files, including cutting lists and Bills of Materials.
• Coordinate with the production team to address technical issues effectively.
• Manage versions of drawings and ensure they conform to project requirements.
• Optimize material usage and assist in quality control during production phases.

Required Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery drafting and production detailing.
• Expertise in CAD+T software and CNC file preparation with a focus on cutting list optimization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Technical qualification in drafting, joinery, or a related discipline.
