About Miraval The Red Sea
Miraval The Red Sea is a wellness resort focused on delivering transformative guest experiences by integrating fitness and artistic expression through movement and dance. The Fitness Instructor specialized in Movement & Dance plays a pivotal role in energizing and nurturing guests' physical and emotional well-being through dynamic and mindful programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead diverse dance-based fitness classes including Zumba, Ballroom, Latin, contemporary, barre, intuitive dance, cardio dance, and mindful movement, catering to various fitness levels and guest preferences.
- Infuse creativity, rhythm, and mindfulness into sessions to help guests connect deeply with their bodies and emotions.
- Develop dance-inspired fitness programs that improve cardiovascular health, coordination, strength, and encourage self-expression.
- Offer special workshop-style classes combining dance with mindfulness, cultural themes, or emotional healing.
- Provide personalized training focusing on dance conditioning, mobility enhancements, and guests' fitness goals, integrating breathwork and body awareness to promote mind-body harmony.
- Guide guests compassionately through movement, emphasizing safe alignment, injury prevention, and fostering sustainable joyful movement practices.
- Collaborate closely with wellness, spa, and fitness teams to create integrated offerings such as dance paired with sound healing or movement meditation.
- Contribute creatively to seasonal programs, retreats, and unique Miraval experiences showcasing dance as a path to wellness.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and equipment functionality, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment that complies with local wellness regulations.
- Promote private sessions, group classes, spa services, and special events through engaging guest interactions and cross-selling opportunities with related teams.
- Ensure all fitness equipment is well-maintained and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Support team development by mentoring colleagues, participating in ongoing professional training, and assisting in resort-wide wellness and fitness events.
- Engage with marketing efforts by sharing content related to dance programming and guest experiences, and actively gather guest feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certification in group fitness instruction and/or dance fitness modalities (such as Zumba, Barre, Latin, Ballroom) and/or personal training certifications (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM).
- Minimum one year of experience teaching dance-based fitness classes within resorts, wellness retreats, or studio environments.
- Expertise in one or more dance styles such as Latin, contemporary, ballet, African, ballroom, hip-hop, or culturally rooted dances.
- Additional certifications in yoga, barre, functional training, somatics, or other fitness areas are advantageous.
- Experience integrating mindfulness, somatic techniques, or breathwork into movement or fitness sessions.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Additional Information
The position operates onsite at Miraval The Red Sea, adhering strictly to Saudi Arabia’s wellness regulations related to safety, health, and cultural considerations. The instructor is expected to maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, or other safety certifications required by the resort. Collaboration across wellness, spa, and retail departments is essential to enhance guest engagement and departmental revenue. Regular maintenance and safety checks of fitness facilities and equipment form part of the role’s responsibilities.
