Role Overview

The Fit-out Supervisor role, based on-site in Qatar, entails full responsibility for managing interior fit-out projects in residential and commercial settings. The individual will ensure that all site activities adhere to project drawings, specifications, safety protocols, and deadlines through supervision and coordination.

Key Duties

• Oversee site operations and supervise subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform regular inspections to assess quality, safety, and progress.
• Address and resolve technical and operational issues on site.
• Communicate updates, potential risks, and resource needs effectively to project managers and clients.
• Plan work schedules and supervise workforce distribution for efficient progress.
• Monitor materials to guarantee appropriate usage and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and internal company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain thorough reports and documentation related to fit-out activities.
• Support ongoing enhancement of fit-out processes and service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fit-out supervision, managing interior elements like partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination.
• Solid understanding of construction and fit-out standards, safety protocols, and local building regulations applicable to Qatar or the GCC region.
• Strong project coordination, planning, and time management capabilities to meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills facilitating collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Competency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and documents, with the ability to convey clear instructions to onsite teams.
• Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office and digital work-order or workflow systems.
• A relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or an equivalent discipline; comparable experience will be considered.
• Previous exposure to facilities management, interior contracting, or maintenance services is beneficial.
