About the Role
Join CIBC's Financial Planning and Advice division supporting affluent clients with comprehensive wealth strategies including estate, business transition, tax minimization, protection, and philanthropic planning. This role demands Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification and collaboration with branch advisors under the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on finances, factoring in economic, political, regulatory, and market trends, leveraging 7-10 years of experience serving high net worth clients.
- Conduct detailed portfolio analyses, develop retirement and investment plans aligned with client goals, identify financial gaps, recommend asset allocation, and facilitate plan implementation.
- Educate clients and advisors about investment products and portfolios through clear presentations, fostering strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with relationship managers to share insights from client discussions, coordinate service delivery, and identify referral opportunities with other CIBC subsidiaries.
- Maintain teamwork within branch networks to identify and support high-value customers, and conduct seminars for relationship managers to enhance financial planning awareness.

- Annual base salary approximates $50,000 CAD, supplemented by a variable incentive plan contingent on performance.
