Role Overview

As a Financial Planner at UBS, you will deliver expert financial planning advice tailored to Wealth Management clients across the UK. Collaborating closely with UBS client advisors, you will be supported by a team of Paraplanners and Administrators who assist in seamlessly executing advice and ensuring exceptional client service.

Our Global Wealth Management division offers extensive financial services to affluent private clients worldwide. Clients access a broad range of UBS resources, including investment management, estate planning, corporate finance advice, and specialized wealth management products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Grasp clients' long-term financial goals and aspirations.
• Deliver comprehensive and holistic financial planning guidance.
• Exhibit high-level technical proficiency and superior client service.
• Guarantee all advice aligns with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Keep current on developments in financial markets, products, and applicable legislation.
• Foster strong working relationships with clients, client advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings alongside client advisors.
• Prepare and finalize meeting notes and follow-up actions efficiently.

Required Expertise

• Chartered Financial Planner status; FCA-authorized and regulated with a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
• Considerable experience serving high net worth and ultra high net worth clients from diverse backgrounds and professions.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge across all financial planning areas.
• Strong capability to navigate complex client scenarios with clear and concise communication.
• Proven sales skills paired with a commercial mindset.
• Robust understanding of risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with cash flow modeling software is advantageous.
• Curiosity and openness in exploring AI applications to enhance workflow creation, delivery, and optimization, applying sound judgment to ensure outputs comply with policies, risk standards, and ethical guidelines.
