Financial Director

Overview

Our client, a prominent UK-based fire protection and compliance services provider, is seeking a commercially astute Financial Director to join their senior leadership team in West Yorkshire. This role offers a competitive six-figure salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. It represents a pivotal position to collaborate with the CFO and other senior leaders to enhance financial performance, improve governance frameworks, and facilitate the company's upcoming growth phase.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

• Provide strategic financial leadership within a long-term contract accounting setting, preferably in the construction or a closely related industry.
• Oversee and manage financial reporting processes including consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow control.
• Lead and develop finance teams, delivering insightful commercial analysis to senior executives, boards, and investors.
• Contribute to business expansion efforts including acquisitions and mergers activity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Substantial senior-level experience in finance management focusing on contract accounting environments.
• Expertise in comprehensive financial reporting and effective cashflow management.
• Track record of leadership and financial guidance for senior management and stakeholders.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
