About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and fast-expanding specialist in engineering and technical services for the multinational manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance team and contribute to the company’s next growth phase. This permanent position is ideal for an ambitious accountant aiming to advance their career in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and serve as a critical member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the Director of Operations at the site.
• Own the monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and uphold strong financial controls and governance across the business.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee risk, compliance, and audit activities to maintain company standards.
• Coordinate and execute the annual budgeting process.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to commercial and technical department leaders.
• Lead business transformation initiatives to drive operational improvements.
• Mentor and support finance team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with the global CFO on projects relevant to the regional operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a third-level degree in a relevant field.
• Fully qualified accountant; experience in Big 3 firms preferred but not mandatory.
• Possesses 6-7+ years of experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or equivalent senior finance role.
• Experience supporting international entities is highly desirable.
• Background in business growth planning and expansion strategies is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Annual salary up to approximately €90,000–€95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
