Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Financial Controller position is based in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on preparing financial statements and reports accurately and on time, tracking budgets and business performance, improving financial stability, and maintaining strong internal controls. The position also involves supervising accounting operations and ensuring compliance with applicable financial rules and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare and assess financial statements and reporting outputs
• Strong analytical ability and a solid grounding in finance
• Hands-on knowledge of accounting methods and practices
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Good understanding of international financial regulations and tax requirements
• Comfort with financial software and related tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or an equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Previous experience in financial management roles; hospitality sector experience is preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and work well with a team
• English fluency is required; German language skills are a plus
