Role Summary

The Finance Associate will become part of a dynamic Finance team, undertaking various daily financial operations and supporting broader business partnering activities within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the billing inbox and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Processing of bills and invoices efficiently.
• Uploading invoices to electronic billing portals.
• Recording transactions in the financial system accurately.
• Executing electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments.
• Preparing journal entries using Excel spreadsheets.
• Reviewing and approving expenses via the firm's expense management system.
• Validating and posting invoices.
• Handling billing queries from solicitors and assistants.
• Providing support to the wider Finance team in business partnering tasks.
• Utilizing financial dashboards to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Managing vendor and supplier queries effectively.
• Contributing to general finance and office duties as required.

Candidate Profile

• Between 6 to 12 months of experience working in a finance-related role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle a demanding workload.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Positive mindset with eagerness to learn and develop.
• Possession of a third-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
