Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for monitoring the company's financial health, evaluating business and market dynamics to prepare forecasts, and assisting senior leadership in tactical and strategic decision-making through regular documentation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Aggregate and interpret financial reports, predict future income and expenses, and build financial models to aid decision-making.
• Assist management in crafting financial plans and optimizing resource allocation to meet business goals.
• Detect patterns, monitor operational and financial metrics, and advise on enhancements grounded in financial strategies.
• Conduct variance analyses and comparative assessments to refine forecast models.
• Produce recurring reports and collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure precise financial records.
• Initiate and maintain process and policy enhancements aimed at streamlining operations and fostering financial growth.
• Offer innovative cost-saving solutions and initiatives to enhance financial outcomes.
• Gain cross-departmental insights and suggest growth initiatives and business improvements.
• Collaborate with management to support strategic deliberations and contribute to relevant projects as needed.
• Stay informed on evolving financial regulations and policies.

Position Requirements

• Experience managing VAT reporting, including calculations and submissions, within UAE, Oman, Kenya, and Qatar.
• Familiarity with In-Country Value (ICV) certifications.
• Handling of Accounts Payable (AP) approval processes.
• Exposure to income and corporate taxation, including local filings and transfer pricing documentation.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• Between 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.
