Work Details
- Location options include Stuttgart (preferred), Freiburg, Berlin, or a remote option if not near RIB offices
- Work model is hybrid with 2 to 3 days per week at the office or fully remote
- Full-time position with permanent contract
Your Role and Impact
As an experienced Financial Analyst, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive growth and performance in a global software and SaaS business. Collaborating closely with business leaders and finance stakeholders across multiple regions, you will expand your expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business partnering, and international finance. This role also provides engagement with senior management, global reporting, and transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global revenue, cost, and profit trends across the company’s major revenue regions
- Examine software and SaaS revenue streams to identify opportunities for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency
- Support FP&A activities with a focus on forecast assumptions
- Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to challenge assumptions, enhance forecast accuracy, and facilitate commercial decision-making
- Investigate variances between actual and forecasted costs, reporting findings clearly and transparently
- Identify optimization opportunities in processes, costs, and profitability
- Contribute to standardizing and improving financial processes, reporting, and governance structures
- Assist in finance transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation, process optimization, and digitalization
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities
- Support internal and external audits and compliance matters
- Conduct financial evaluations and business case analyses for projects and investments
- Provide ad hoc analyses and recommendations to support management decisions and priorities
Candidate Profile
- Several years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Business Finance, Corporate Finance, or related international finance roles
- Sound expertise in financial consolidation, subsidiary controlling, and process design
- Strong inclination toward digital tools and a proactive attitude to improving processes through technology
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences and confident in delivering presentations
- Collaborative team player who can build strong relationships across functions, regions, and organizational levels
- Proficient English language skills (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken
Additional Advantages

- Exposure to ERP transformation or financial systems projects
- Knowledge of German language
