Job Overview
One of our clients is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their investment team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on in-depth equity research, financial performance evaluation, investment opportunity assessment, and delivering insights that support investment decision-making and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed equity research and financial analysis on listed companies as well as potential investments.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models, including forecasting, valuation, and scenario planning.
- Examine financial statements, track market trends, analyze industry progress, and assess company fundamentals.
- Create comprehensive investment research reports, financial presentations, and provide recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.
- Apply valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Monitor portfolio metrics, financial indicators, and changes in market conditions.
- Identify risks and opportunities influencing company valuations and investment decisions.
- Work closely with investment teams, finance departments, and senior management to aid strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal investment policies in research and analysis activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or closely related disciplines; advanced degrees (Master's) or CFA certification are advantageous.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial analysis, equity research, investment banking, asset management, or similar fields.
- Expertise in equity research and fundamental financial analysis is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, company valuation, and investment research methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and industry dynamics.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and report-writing skills.
- High-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
