Financial Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to enhance our financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions. This position involves analyzing financial data, detecting patterns, preparing comprehensive reports, and offering insights to guide strategic business choices.

Key Duties

• Compile and scrutinize financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Create and update financial forecasts, models, and budgets.
• Assess financial outcomes including revenue, costs, margins, and deviations from budgets.
• Conduct variance analyses and deliver detailed explanations along with actionable suggestions.
• Contribute to the yearly budgeting and forecasting procedures.
• Track cash flow, working capital, and critical financial metrics.
• Develop financial dashboards and presentations for management.
• Perform financial and business analyses to support managerial decision-making.
• Assess project and enterprise performance, pinpointing financial risks.
• Gather and verify financial data from multiple departments.
• Assist in crafting business cases, investment evaluations, and financial feasibility studies.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, Projects, and Management teams.
• Maintain accuracy, uniformity, and confidentiality of all financial data.
• Execute miscellaneous financial analyses and reporting as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or comparable roles.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting applications.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Credentials

• Certifications such as CFA, FMVA, CMA, or similar are advantageous.
• Experience within the real estate, construction, engineering, or project implementation sectors is desirable.
• Knowledge of Power BI and experience creating financial dashboards is beneficial.
