Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are searching for a seasoned professional in Financial Accounting and Budgeting with a minimum of three years' experience, ideally gained within a local or Gulf-region bank or similar financial institution. This role involves assisting with financial accounting processes, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of financial reports.
• Compile and analyze financial datasets, budgets, management reports, and conduct variance investigations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks including account reconciliation.
• Track budget usage and analyze discrepancies between budgeted and actual expenditures.
• Support strategic financial planning efforts and provide reliable financial data to decision-makers.
• Adhere to internal finance protocols, accounting standards, and procedures specific to the banking sector.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial information.
• Keep detailed and precise financial records along with necessary documentation.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least three years of experience in Financial Accounting, Budgeting, or relevant finance roles.
• Mandatory possession of CMA certification.
• Prior experience in banking or financial institutions, preferably within a local or Gulf bank.
• Proficient English communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities complemented by advanced MS Excel skills.
• Professional and polished presentation and behavior.
