Job Overview

As a Financial Advisor specializing in equity trading within our Pune office, you will be responsible for ensuring precise and timely execution of buy and sell orders in the Indian stock market. You will collaborate closely with clients, relationship managers, research teams, and internal departments to provide up-to-date market information and maintain thorough transaction records.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute trading orders in equities while maintaining accuracy.
• Monitor market dynamics including stock movements, prices, volumes, and emerging trends.
• Operate trading terminals to manage client orders and ensure prompt processing.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams such as relationship managers and research personnel to facilitate trading activities.
• Provide clients with timely updates and relevant stock market information.
• Track the status of open positions, trade confirmations, and orders to maintain transparency.
• Ensure proper trade entry, settlement procedures, and reconcile discrepancies when necessary.
• Keep detailed and organized records of client transactions and instructions.
• Adhere strictly to risk-management policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed of corporate announcements, market news, and economic changes impacting equities.
• Identify and promptly report any trade inconsistencies, unusual activities, or operational challenges.
• Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all dealings.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Preferable experience in equity dealing, stock brokerage, trading, or capital markets.
• Sound knowledge of Indian equity markets, stock exchanges, and trading mechanisms.
• Proficiency in using trading terminals and market data platforms.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
• Effective communication and client management skills.
• Competent in MS Excel and basic financial analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from NISM related to equity market operations.
• Experience with NSE/BSE trading platforms and order management systems.
• Familiarity with equity derivatives and both technical and fundamental analysis concepts.
