Financial Advisor

About the Role

FDC Group is expanding its advisory team in Ireland and seeks a Qualified Financial Consultant to join our local team. We pride ourselves on deep local connections and aim to support businesses, farms, families, and individuals through trusted and enduring relationships.

Based in Ennis, the position includes travel to Ennistymon and nearby offices. You'll be responsible for managing a substantial existing client portfolio and cultivating both new and existing relationships to drive growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive financial planning encompassing investment options, pensions, savings, and protection tailored to client needs.
• Maintain and develop client accounts, including generating new business from current and prospective clients to meet targets.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial circumstances, goals, provisions, and risk preferences through detailed fact-finding.
• Offer consistent, high-caliber professional advice aligned with client requirements.
• Collaborate with support teams to enhance administrative processes through constructive feedback.
• Remain updated through professional development, tutorials, and seminars to maintain accreditation.
• Provide regular reports to management on activities, goals, and client meetings.
• Stay abreast of financial products, market changes, legislative updates, and compliance standards.
• Keep leadership informed about operational matters.
• Meet or exceed business targets and uphold all company compliance obligations.

Requirements

• QFA qualification with continuous professional development (CPD) compliance is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar financial advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear and effective dialogue.
• Proactive learner with a drive for self-improvement and contributing to company growth.
• Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload systematically.
• Responsible for fostering positive working relationships among colleagues, management, and partners.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with initiative to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Team-oriented, maintaining collaborative and constructive interactions within the workplace.
• Experience in sales within brokerage or related backgrounds is advantageous.
