Role Overview
The Financial Accountant role is pivotal within the finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Controller. The position offers exposure to the engineering industry's dynamic environment and the chance to contribute directly to the company's financial management and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statement movements thoroughly.
- Manage balance sheet controls and perform reconciliations at the entity level.
- Prepare month-end management accounts for major business entities.
- Support finance systems integration efforts.
- Engage with customers and senior management both directly and indirectly.
- Conduct various financial analyses and develop financial models as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Accountant with prior experience in one or more of the following areas: senior roles in Audit/Tax/Corporate Finance/Transaction Services within practice, or Financial Accounting/Internal Audit/Tax Accounting in industry or financial services.
- Motivated and willing to work diligently to meet targets.
- Possess a personable nature with the ability to adapt and thrive within a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range between 60,000 and 65,000 annually, complemented by excellent additional benefits.
