Financial Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the finance department of a dynamic, expanding company based in Dublin. This versatile position offers responsibility across multiple facets of finance including financial reporting, management accounts, consolidation, and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile monthly management accounts accurately and timely
• Perform group consolidation and comprehensive financial reporting
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances
• Prepare budgets and forecasts to support financial planning
• Assist with internal and external audit processes
• Provide insightful financial analysis to aid management decisions
• Ensure robust financial controls and adherence to compliance standards
• Identify opportunities and drive enhancements in financial processes
• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders throughout the business

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA professional
• At least three years of post-qualification experience in accounting
• Proven expertise in financial reporting and management accounting
• Experience in consolidation and handling multi-entity financial reporting
• Proficient in Excel and experienced with ERP systems
• Capable of engaging effectively with senior level stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset coupled with commercial awareness and a drive for process optimization
