Role Overview

As a Finance Systems Analyst at Halter, you will be pivotal in managing and enhancing our finance systems and related applications. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance Systems, your role transcends routine maintenance—you're responsible for optimizing and advancing our ERP ecosystem's performance and intelligence. Collaborating closely with finance, operations, and technology teams, you will identify and resolve inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and utilize AI technologies to automate repetitive tasks. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about problem-solving and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage finance systems including user access, configurations, workflows, saved searches, custom records, and integrations to maintain system accuracy and peak functionality.
  • Drive continuous process optimization by identifying gaps in ERP workflows and connected systems, and developing and implementing practical enhancements.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate finance and operational processes, reduce manual workload, and extract actionable insights.
  • Ensure financial data integrity by supporting system changes that impact inventory valuation, general ledger mappings, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and process updates to support strong internal controls.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP platform, demonstrating an aptitude for system thinking and connections.
  • Background in Accounting or Finance, such as a Chartered Accountant, CA candidate, or degree holder, possessing a deep understanding of financial principles behind the systems.
  • Interest or hands-on experience with AI tools aimed at enhancing workflow automation and efficiency.
  • A proactive problem solver who identifies inefficiencies, innovates solutions, and takes responsibility for implementation.
  • Early career professional with 1-2 years experience, capable of rapid learning and adaptation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Access to complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the day.
  • Health benefits through Southern Cross Health Insurance partnership to promote wellbeing.
  • Generous parental leave policies including 6 months paid leave for primary caregivers and 4 weeks for secondary caregivers, plus additional family support.
  • An annual $1000 allowance for personal development to support continuous learning.
  • Flexibility with unlimited paid annual leave and wellness leave to encourage balanced rest and recovery.
  • Competitive salary package combined with benefits and an employee stock ownership plan.

Halter emphasizes an office-first approach to nurture strong interpersonal connections, fostering faster growth, impactful collaboration, and a vibrant culture. While office presence is expected, flexible work arrangements are supported based on individual and company needs within a high-trust environment.
