Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a Finance Officer based in Kalanki, Kathmandu for a full-time role with working hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee petty cash management, payments processing, reimbursements, and verify all expenses ensuring proper approval and documentation.
• Manage monthly payroll activities covering salaries, allowances, Provident Fund (PF), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), deductions, bonuses, and personnel changes.
• Maintain and reconcile PF and tax/TDS records including related calculations and statutory paperwork.
• Handle financial transactions and postings such as supplier and employee payments, journal entries, and receipts using Odoo ERP system.
• Perform thorough reconciliations across bank accounts, ledgers, payroll, suppliers, customers, petty cash, PF, and taxes, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Calculate and process employee leave encashment and final settlement payments accurately.
• Conduct stock verifications and reconcile with Odoo ERP inventory data, collaborating to address any mismatches.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial, payroll, reconciliation, stock, and management reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Work closely with HR, stores, procurement, administration, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information and records.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper maintenance of financial data within the Odoo ERP system.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented and performance-driven working environment.
