Finance Manager

Role Overview

Based in the Corporate Office in Jeddah, this position is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis for the business and its licensed markets. The role involves constructing financial models and reporting frameworks, enabling management and partners to have clear insight into performance. Additionally, the Finance Manager will develop the finance team's commercial expertise and collaborate with commercial and operational groups on growth, expansion, and profitability strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategies aligned with business goals.
• Create the financial structure for licensed operations, including royalty and fee models, partner-level profit and loss setups, target methodology, and profitability benchmarks.
• Develop detailed business cases to support opportunities for expansion, including exploration of new markets, retail locations, distribution channels, and partnership models.
• Establish and implement uniform investment assessment criteria, such as payback periods, return on investment, and hurdle rate thresholds.
• Evaluate market conditions, cost factors, and competitor activities that influence margins, advising when to protect, invest, or restructure business lines.
• Manage financial performance reporting for the entire business and licensed territories against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Design and maintain financial reporting and modeling tools like P&L models, dashboards, forecasting mechanisms, and standardized reports ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
• Interpret financial outcomes, business trends, and key metrics to uncover risks and opportunities, then collaborate with relevant stakeholders on corrective initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports, forecasts, and performance presentations for senior leadership, board members, and partner discussions.
• Lead cash flow planning, implement cost reduction strategies, and drive profit enhancement measures.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to boost financial results, optimize allocations, and validate commercial plans prior to execution.
• Oversee the finance team’s growth through recruitment, mentoring, and strategic planning, ensuring adherence to financial policies, governance, internal controls, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of cumulative experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business finance roles, including a minimum of 4 years in managerial or leadership positions.
• Robust background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Preferred experience within QSR, food & beverage, retail, or multi-location business settings.
• Strong advantage for candidates experienced with franchise or licensing models.
• Proven track record of creating financial models and reporting structures from inception rather than solely maintaining existing ones.
• Experience managing finance functions during periods of business growth or organizational change.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business units, influencing decisions beyond standard financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, CPA, FMVA, or FPAC are desirable.
