About the Role

We seek a proactive Finance Manager to join a prominent company within the social media and creative agency sector. This position emphasizes practical, day-to-day financial management tasks, ensuring precise record-keeping, seamless process flow, and robust stakeholder support. Rather than focusing on broad financial strategy, you will function as a vital operational finance collaborator.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations for an active portfolio of accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor expenditures, revenue streams, accruals, and profitability metrics, identifying associated risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with account teams regarding estimates, purchase orders, invoicing, and any finance-related inquiries.
• Assist in month-end close procedures to guarantee timely, accurate, and comprehensible financial reporting.
• Maintain rigorous financial controls and ensure consistent adherence to established processes.
• Engage with internal finance teams and senior management to facilitate financial operations.
• Continuously seek and implement practical improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately eight years of finance experience, preferably within creative, marketing, media, or agency contexts.
• Possession of a part-qualified or fully qualified accounting credential (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Exhibit strong commercial acumen coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and reconciliation processes.
• Effective and collaborative communicator capable of translating finance concepts to non-finance personnel.
• Able to balance competing priorities and maintain composure under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates a proactive and hands-on approach toward problem resolution.
