Overview
This position is tasked with managing the comprehensive finance functions to uphold stringent financial oversight, ensure compliance, and align with the corporate objectives. Key duties include supervising liquidity and cash flow, credit risk assessments, cost reporting accuracy, fixed asset management, and reducing daily sales outstanding. The role emphasizes enhancing processes, particularly relating to accounts payable and payment operations.
Key Duties
- Direct daily finance activities ensuring consistency with company policies, targets, and budgets.
- Maintain target daily sales outstanding figures.
- Conduct credit risk evaluations for clients.
- Guarantee adherence to financial policies throughout operations.
- Champion efforts to streamline financial workflows, focusing on accounts payable and payments.
- Oversee cash management, securing operational liquidity and managing financial plus interest rate risks.
- Supervise the cost function ensuring precise reporting, prompt resolution of cost discrepancies, and exploration of unusual contribution margins.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to formulate financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Recognize and address financial risks linked to operational tasks.
- Administer the fixed asset register and confirm that capital expenditures are duly authorized.
- Lead the creation and control of annual budgets ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Track expenditures against approved budgets and perform detailed variance analysis, especially for projects and CAPEX.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including forecasting and variance analysis against plans.
- Ensure quarterly VAT returns comply with relevant regulatory standards.
- Manage annual tax compliance, ensuring filings meet ZATCA guidelines.
- Serve as principal contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
- Execute miscellaneous finance projects as required.
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in finance or accounting, with three years in an operational financial leadership role.
- Experience managing a team of five or more employees.
- Familiarity with SAP software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Deep insight into financial controls, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Demonstrates hands-on leadership and mentorship qualities.
- Effective at managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
