Finance Manager - Media Agency

Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our Dubai-based media agency. The ideal candidate will handle financial planning, reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, cash flow oversight, and provide strategic financial guidance. A deep understanding of UAE financial regulations and experience in media agency environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting functions of the company.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial planning activities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and other applicable financial legislation.
• Supervise accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and general ledger processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, along with financial policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data to offer insights that foster business growth and profitability.
• Advise senior management on strategic financial decisions and risk management.
• Manage banking relationships and treasury operations.
• Collaborate closely with client servicing and operational teams to meet agency business financial needs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA are preferred.
• Prior finance experience within a media or advertising agency is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of agency-specific financial processes including client billing, reconciliations, supplier management, and revenue tracking.
• Strong capabilities in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Good grasp of UAE VAT, corporate finance, and local regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
• High standards of integrity, accuracy, and detail orientation.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience working in UAE or GCC financial environments.
• Understanding of IFRS and local statutory financial reporting requirements.
• Commercially aware with advanced problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams and senior leaders.
