Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to administer and oversee the financial and accounting functions within our dealership in Mumbai. This role demands thorough involvement in financial reporting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance to support the business's operational and strategic goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial and accounting activities of the dealership.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Track and analyze cash flow, manage working capital, and perform bank reconciliations regularly.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to statutory obligations such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other financial regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial entities for compliance and operational needs.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and carry out variance analyses to inform management.
- Oversee financing related to vehicle inventory, vendor payments, and collection of customer receivables.
- Evaluate dealership profitability and propose cost-saving strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts and finance team members.
- Assist management in financial evaluations and critical business decisions.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and specific manufacturer financial reporting standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
This role requires a candidate with experience in financial management within automotive or similar dealership environments. Expertise in statutory compliance and financial reporting is essential.
