Finance Manager

About the Role

Value Real Estate & Construction is looking for a skilled and meticulous Finance Manager to lead and supervise all accounting, financial, and payroll activities from their Doha, Qatar office. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing comprehensive finance functions in the real estate or construction sector, ensuring rigorous financial controls and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee company-wide budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and perform bank reconciliations.
• Supervise payroll processes including the Wages Protection System (WPS) salary transfers.
• Conduct thorough month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar's taxation laws and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax audits and filings.
• Track and evaluate project-related costs, expenditures, and profitability metrics.
• Maintain and enforce internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within Qatar.
• Solid understanding of payroll, WPS, taxation principles, budgeting, auditing, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficient in ERP or accounting software systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Background in real estate, construction, or trading industries is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA will be considered a plus.
• Highly dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and accurate in deliverables.
