Role Overview

The Finance Manager at BookBI will be responsible for managing daily financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and preparing financial statements. This role includes enhancing internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with financial regulations in the UAE, and coordinating activities with accounting and auditing partners. The incumbent will analyze financial data to assist in strategic planning, cost optimization, and identifying expansion opportunities. Collaboration with leadership and various teams is key to aligning financial strategies with organizational objectives and offering clear, data-backed insights. This position requires full-time, on-site presence in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and review accurate financial reports aligned with organisational goals.
• Enhance internal controls and ensure adherence to UAE’s financial laws and tax regulations.
• Liaise with accounting and audit partners for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams for financial alignment and support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience coordinating accounting and audit functions, familiarity with UAE financial regulations and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and influence business strategies.
• Competency with accounting and financial software, preferably AI-enhanced or cloud-based tools.
• Excellent organizational aptitude and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills to present complex finance-related concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent discipline; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role, ideally within startups, tech firms, or rapidly expanding environments in the UAE.
