Join Gulf Helicopters Company (GHC) as a Finance Manager and lead the organization's financial management, accounting operations, budgeting, reporting, treasury functions, insurance administration, and oversight of joint ventures. This key role ensures the company's financial health, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls, supporting strategic decisions for growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring alignment with company policies and effective financial operations.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and development for finance staff, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
• Oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with continuous monitoring of performance against budgets and objectives.
• Analyze financial variances and advise management on corrective measures to ensure financial targets are met.
• Manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, treasury, and financial closing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain accuracy in bank reconciliations and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and corporate standards.
• Review and monitor the financial performance and reporting of Joint Ventures and related affiliates, establishing robust governance and reporting frameworks.
• Administer corporate insurance policies covering assets, liabilities, aircraft, and employee benefits, liaising with brokers and underwriters for renewals and claims management.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance policies, maintaining strong internal controls and risk management systems.
• Support auditing processes, implement audit recommendations, and oversee financial risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements, automation opportunities, and cost optimizations within finance operations.
• Promote adherence to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) policies and corporate compliance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or similar fields from an accredited institution.
• Preferred qualification includes a master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalents are strongly preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in finance-related roles involving accounting, budgeting, and financial management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial or leadership positions overseeing finance teams and functions.
• Experience in aviation, transportation, oil & gas, engineering, or similarly asset-heavy industries is advantageous.

Working Relationships

This role involves collaboration with internal parties such as the CEO, executive management, department heads, and finance team members. Externally, the manager will coordinate with regulatory authorities, banking institutions, insurance brokers and underwriters, joint venture partners, affiliates, and external auditors or consultants.
