Key Responsibilities

• Direct the comprehensive finance strategy and manage the finance department.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to guide commercial and strategic initiatives.
• Provide insightful financial data to drive growth and market expansion.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure effective financial controls, governance measures, and risk management.
• Support operations encompassing manufacturing, wholesale, and international segments.
• Identify and aid new opportunities for markets, products, and business development.
• Create and refine scalable financial systems and reporting frameworks.
• Engage with external entities including auditors, banks, and financial advisors.
• Prepare financial presentations for the Board and offer clear commercial analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Champion the organization through its next evolution and growth phases.

Candidate Profile

• CPA certification or an equivalent qualification is essential.
• Extensive leadership experience in finance within beauty, FMCG, consumer retail, or related product-driven sectors.
• Proven track record working in startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing business environments.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing and supply chain finance dynamics.
• Experience spanning wholesale and global markets.
• History of delivering reports and engaging at Board level.
• Robust commercial insight paired with the ability to shape business strategy.
• Demonstrated capability in creating or enhancing financial functions, systems, and processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of cash flow, working capital management, and profit optimization.
• Ability to strategize and also contribute hands-on within a streamlined corporate environment.
• Confident communication skills suitable for interaction with founders, senior executives, investors, and key stakeholders.
