Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this key position involves leading the finance function, contributing to strategic decisions, driving the financial success of the group, and shaping the future finance operations to support ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and build a high-performing finance team.
- Manage financial reporting, including Board and management accounts.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
- Oversee group consolidations involving multiple entities.
- Support mergers and acquisitions activities and integrate new businesses.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive improvements in reporting, including automation and AI-driven initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to support commercial and strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- At least seven years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven leadership experience in senior finance roles.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience managing finance in multi-entity or group settings.
- Proficient in presenting financial information to Boards and Executives.
- Excellent commercial insight and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Skilled in leading and developing finance teams.
- Adaptable to a dynamic and rapidly expanding business environment.
Desirable Attributes
- Background in high-growth or acquisition-focused companies.
- Experience with acquisition integration processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI, automation tools, and AI-enabled financial reporting.
- Experience collaborating with external financial partners to foster business growth.
- Proven track record in establishing or managing Financial Planning & Analysis functions.
