About the Role and Company
Fin Search is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a thriving and innovative company located in South Pontefract. This newly established position has arisen due to the business's ongoing strong performance. The location is convenient for commuters from Barnsley, Doncaster, and Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Business Partner will focus primarily on commercial finance activities, collaborating closely with project managers to evaluate project values, costs, margins, and financial risks. Your duties will involve delivering insightful financial data, reviewing and validating forecasts, identifying financial risks, tracking performance against forecasts, investigating variances, and constructively challenging stakeholders regarding forecasts. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing financial tools, templates, and forecasting methods on a continuous basis.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA accountant; strong QBEs or part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Previous experience in a commercial finance role.
- Excellent communication abilities with capability to influence various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between 70,000 and 75,000.
