Role Overview
As a Finance Assistant, you will report to the Director of Finance and actively support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes behind the scenes. Your role is critical during month-end closures, accurate financial reporting, and helping the hotel maintain compliance and financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the month-end closing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial records.
- Manage daily hotel financial tasks including accounts payable processing alongside the Finance Director and team.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting by contributing to P&L preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial validations.
- Ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures, maintaining transparency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with hotel operational teams by providing accurate and prompt financial insights to aid business decision-making.
- Contribute to the smooth operational flow within the hotel, allowing other teams to focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
Desired Qualifications & Attributes

- Preferred experience in hospitality finance, particularly income audit or accounts payable, though not compulsory.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
